La Jetee
Very interesting for sure. The film opens up with a young child watching a man get shot and killed. Shocking, horrific for the child, it fast forwards to scientists finding a way to go back and save the future. Using a prisoner, they decide to test the time travel on him. With a lot of the fourth wall breaking, this film felt a bit like a psychological thriller when the man killed at the beginning was actually himself. These movies I find so interesting to me. As someone who does abstract art, that is what psychological thrillers remind me of. Do you have to go down a rabbit hole online and find yourself at some article and photo and be like, how did I end up here? You got there through something that connected with one another, and if you were to rewind it would be a jumbled mess, but can be taken into individuals differently depending on how you look at it.
